Intelance is an enterprise architecture, AI governance and cyber resilience consultancy. We support large, complex organisations through transformation, integration and change. We are building our associate bench of senior M&A integration specialists to support clients with high-volume, high-variety deal pipelines. This is an associate / contract engagement with the potential to be long-term and ongoing, with work rotated to keep delivery fresh.
Tasks
You will lead and support integration activity across the full deal lifecycle, often across several concurrent deals. Typical work includes:
- Leading or supporting M&A integration across multiple concurrent workstreams
- Owning integration plans, and managing risks, issues, dependencies, actions and decisions (RAID)
- Supporting technology and operational due diligence, and flagging process, system and operating-model risks early
- Working across business, technology, finance, HR, legal, operations and change teams
- Coordinating Day 1 readiness and post-deal implementation
- Helping acquired businesses align to shared platforms, processes and governance
- Bringing structure and momentum where ownership is unclear or progress has stalled
- Translating integration strategy into practical, day-to-day delivery
- Capturing lessons learned and strengthening repeatable integration capability
Requirements
- Proven M&A integration / post-merger integration experience across multiple deals, not a single transaction
- Hands-on experience of Day-1 readiness and post-deal implementation
- Experience spanning both technology and operational integration
- Exposure to varied deal types: acquisitions, partnerships and joint ventures
- Strong programme and workstream management, including RAID and dependency control
- Confident working with senior stakeholders across business, finance, HR, legal and technology
- Genuine change sensitivity when moving acquired businesses onto shared platforms and ways of working
- Carve-out, separation or large transformation experience an advantage
- Programme qualification (MSP, PMP or similar) welcome but not essential
- London based or able to work in London regularly
Benefits
- Long-term, ongoing engagement potential with varied, high-profile deal work
- Roll-on / roll-off model that keeps work fresh and avoids stagnation
- Work alongside senior Intelance architects and leadership
- Exposure to complex, global integration programmes across sectors
