Solution Engineer (m/f/d) Telecommunications

Infosim is a software company based in Würzburg, Germany. We develop and distribute StableNet, our network management software, together with a dedicated Business Intelligence suite.

As our business in Africa continues to grow, we are looking for a freelance Solution Engineer (m/f/d) to join us from August 2026 and help strengthen our presence in and around Lagos, Nigeria.

Join our international team of 15 experts and use your technical expertise and telco knowledge to help our customers unlock the full potential of our products.

In this role, you will support installation, rollout, and integration, ensuring that our network management software is successfully implemented in complex network environments.

In addition, you will act as NCCM expert for Cisco, Huawei, Palo Alto, HPE/Juniper, and FortiNet devices.

Furthermore, you will act as a technical advisor to our Sales team. You will support the preparation of tender offers, respond to RFIs and RFQs, and deliver compelling product demonstrations to customers and prospects.

Your skills and personality matter more to us than a specific degree or a fixed number of years of experience.

If you understand the ins and outs of large IT and telecommunications networks and are comfortable working with technologies such as SNMP, IPv6, Kafka, or comparable tools and protocols, this is the job for you! Specifically, we are looking for NCCM expertise across different device vendors. Bonus points if you also have a solid understanding of Linux and databases. In-depth programming skills are not required, but you should be able to write small scripts to support technical tasks, automation, or troubleshooting.

As this role is strongly customer-facing, clear communication and strong English skills are essential. You should enjoy working closely with customers, understanding their needs, and explaining technical concepts in a clear and practical way.

Additionally, you should be prepared to travel, as regular on-site visits to customers will be part of the role.
