__Your responsibilities__  

* Propagation, and cryopreservation of cells, including primary human cells from commercial and/or patient sources in a BSLII environment
* Culturing primary epithelial cells from frozen or fresh normal and tumor tissues
* Culturing and passaging spheroid and organoid epithelial cells
* Cell-based assays (cell imaging, flow cytometry assays, killing assays etc.)
* RNA extraction, qPCR, Western blot
* Transformation, Miniprep, Maxiprep
* Transfection, Transduction
* Maintain accurate and detailed experimental records, analyze data, and generate comprehensive reports
* Draft SOPs
* Lab management tasks such as receiving and inventory of laboratory consumables
* Preparation and aliquoting of media and reagents
* Preparation of lab consumables (e.g. coating of cell culture vessels)
* Cleaning and maintenance of laboratory instruments
* Coordination of maintenance for laboratory instruments with service contracts.
* Autoclaving and waste disposal

__Our requirements__  

* Masters degree in life sciences, Biology or related field
* Strong background in cell biology including primary human cell culture from commercial and patient sources in a BSLII environment
* also strong background in cancer biology
* experience in ropagation and cryopreservation of 2D and 3D primary cell culture
* deep understanding of quality Control specifications of cultured cells like STR analysis, Karyotype, mycoplasma etc.
* Fluent in English and German
