We're looking for a passionate DevOps Engineer to join our mission. You'll be a cornerstone in elevating our product and infrastructure to new heights.

Our vibrant teams in our Munich headquarters and Cluj are eager to welcome you aboard!

• Spearhead Infrastructure Excellence: Design, develop, manage, and scale our production infrastructure (currently AWS managed by Terraform), ensuring top-tier reliability, performance, cost-efficiency, and security for all Impower applications and services.
• Empower Our Developers: Own, maintain, and evolve our developer platform and CI/CD pipelines (using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Ansible), enabling our feature teams to deliver high-quality software efficiently and reliably.
• Drive Innovation & Stability: Proactively design and implement cutting-edge technical solutions, meticulously optimizing infrastructure and backend workflows for maximum efficiency and unwavering stability.
• Champion Data-Driven Operations: Build and refine data-connected workflows to support our company-wide data-driven approach, including contributions to our Datalake initiatives and ETL processes.
• Elevate Quality Assurance: Develop QA automation within our CI/CD pipeline, guiding the team with best practices to ensure exceptional feature delivery.
• Collaborate & Conquer: Work hand-in-hand with a talented, cross-functional team of approximately 20 Developers, Product Owners, Designers, and Customer Support specialists in a dynamic, continuous delivery environment.
• Work in a Hybrid Culture: Be an active presence in our Munich Headquarters (at least 3 days a week) while enjoying the flexibility of up to 2 days of remote work.

WHAT YOU WILL HAVE DONE ...

• Seasoned Engineer: 5+ years of software engineering experience, with a strong foundation in backend technologies (Java/TypeScript preferred; C#, Python, or similar also valued).
• DevOps Pro: Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or in a similar infrastructure-focused role.
• Cloud Fluent: Hands-on mastery of cloud platforms (AWS is key; Azure or Google Cloud experience is a plus).
• Container & Orchestration Whiz: Deep experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).
• Automation Champion: Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
• CI/CD Aficionado: Strong understanding and practical experience with CI/CD principles and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI), coupled with a solid grasp of QA automation.
• Monitoring & Observability Savvy: Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
• Data Migration Skills: Demonstrable experience with data migrations, ETL processes, and Datalakes.
• Excellent Communicator: Fluent in both German (B2+ level or higher) and English (C1+ level or higher), enabling seamless collaboration within our international team.
