Tasks
- Feature Implementation: design, develop, and maintain complex features and functionalities in cross-platform applications using Kotlin (Multiplatform) or Swift
- UI/UX Integration: translate design mockups and wireframes into high-quality, responsive user interfaces, ensuring consistency with Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines and Google Play Store guidelines.
- Code Optimization: write efficient, reusable, and scalable code, optimizing the app's performance, memory usage, and responsiveness.
- CI/CD Pipelines: set up and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines using tools like Github Actions to automate the build, testing, and deployment process.
- Security Implementation: implement security best practices in the app, including secure data storage, encryption, and user authentication, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Requirements
Hard skills:
- A minimum of 5 years professional experience in Android development, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality, successful Android applications.
- Experience with Android libraries and frameworks: Jetpack Compose, Kotlin Multi-Platform
- Experience with UI/UX Design principles and experience in implementing responsive and intuitive user interfaces.
- Experience with setting up and maintaining continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines using tools like Github Actions
- Experience with the entire mobile development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing, deployment, and maintenance.
Soft skills:
- Willingness to work in a startup environment, which often requires flexibility, a hands-on approach, and a proactive attitude.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and optimize complex mobile applications.
- Excellent communication skills in English (German very helpful but not required), both verbal and written, to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Experience working in agile or Scrum environments, with the ability to work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers.
