Senior Actuarial Consultant - ALS / Prophet Developer

For our client from the insurance sector in Zurich, we are looking for an motivated Senior Actuarial Consultant - ALS / Prophet Developer.

Your Tasks:

• Enhance and maintain existing actuarial models (ALS and Prophet) used across multiple reporting frameworks, including IFRS 17 and SST
• Support business-as-usual (BAU) activities while contributing to ongoing modelling initiatives
• Implement model improvements and ensure accuracy, robustness, and efficiency of calculations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse and interpret results across P&L and balance sheet perspectives
• Contribute to the continuous development and optimization of actuarial modelling processes
• Work within an experienced actuarial modelling team, sharing insights and best practices

Your Profile:

• 5+ years (ideally 10+ years) of hands-on experience in ALS and Prophet development
• Strong experience with with-profits products
• Solid understanding of model flexing techniques (knowledge of alternative approaches is a plus)
• Independent, delivery-oriented, and able to quickly adapt to new environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Qualified actuary or equivalent actuarial experience is a plus
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
