Currently we are looking for a Semantic AI & Cloud Solutions Engineer to join the team as a long-term Contractor (B2B) / Freelancer.
Based in Luxembourg, working mode: Hybrid.

• Shape the future of data systems: Define conceptual specifications that drive the creation, evolution, and optimization of semantic systems, with an emphasis on secure, reliable, and user-friendly data flows;
• Enable seamless transformations: Develop implementation and migration strategies that ensure smooth transitions and long-lasting, sustainable architectures;
• Bring semantic data to life: Configure and maintain triplestore servers (Apache Jena, Virtuoso) and integrate semantic data into business intelligence tools, turning raw information into actionable insights;
• Leverage AI for smarter systems: Design and deploy predictive models, recommendation engines, and LLM-powered semantic reasoning to uncover hidden relationships and patterns in data;
• Build resilient cloud solutions: Develop and manage cloud-based Semantic Web applications (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, S3/Storage) that are scalable, secure, and high-performing;
• Automate for efficiency and reliability: Apply DevOps and CI/CD practices (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, AWS CodePipeline, Azure DevOps) to streamline testing, deployment, and monitoring;
• Ensure peak performance: Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Semantic Web systems for speed, reliability, and cost-effectiveness;
• Communicate with impact: Deliver presentations, recommendations, and training that align stakeholders and share knowledge effectively.
• Guarantee continuity: Manage takeover and handover processes, preserving institutional knowledge and ensuring smooth transitions.
• University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 4 years of relevant working experience in IT;
• At least 3 years of experience in Python;
• At least 2 years of experience in AWS Cloud Computing services and Docker;
• At least 2 years of experience in Java (Java SE, Java EE, EJB, Applet, etc.);
• At least 2 years of experience in Linux;
• At least 1 year of experience in data modelling (BPMN, ARIS, EPC, Flowcharts), data analysis (Microsoft PowerBI, KNIME, Hadoop, Spark) and data processing (Kafka, Airflow, Kuberflow, LangChain, Langraph);
• At least 1 year of experience in machine learning, Large Language Models (LLMs) and Deep Learning Frameworks (Transformers , TensorFlow , PyTorch, AWS Bedrock, AWS SageMaker AI, Terraformers , Haystack);
• At least 1 year of experience in API Gateway;
• At least 1 year of experience in Microsoft Windows 7 and higher;
• At least 1 year of experience in Perl, R and C++;
• At least 1 year of experience in monitoring tools(e.g. ELK, Datadog, Dynatrace);
• At least 1 year of experience in Version control(e.g. SVN, Bitbucket) and Collaboration systems (Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Office 365);
• At least 1 year of experience in one of the following: OWL 2, RDF, RDF-S, Triple stores(Virtuoso or equivalent) and SPARQL 1.0/1.1;
• Excellent command of the English language.
