As a Project Manager at icon incar, you provide excellent customer service, are a team player and find yourself in design processes. You think strategically, but are also a service provider and develop sustainable customer relationships in your projects.  
  
We are seeking junior project managers, beginners are also welcome, who can combine their expertise in budgeting, documentation, resource planning, controlling, and client facing with their passion for design and the automotive industry. Our project managers are the link between clients and the design team, making sure communication and documentation is in perfect sync.   
  
They work independently and oversee complex digital design projects in collaboration with a design lead and report directly to the account director and creative directors. They must be convincing when facing clients and stakeholders and work in a highly structured way while always looking to improve our process. Our projects range from innovation and research projects to mass market HMI production design for some of the biggest clients in the automotive sector.   
  
Since we typically work directly with our clients’ design teams, fundamental know-how into user experience design, mobility concepts, and the automotive industry is a huge plus but not required.

## What will you do?

Your day-to-day will include: 
* Structure, manage, and lead design teams in projects related to automotive user experience design using agile methods
* Create project plans, time and cost calculations, and ensure all documentation is completed in adherence to requirements throughout the lifecycle of a project
* Manage resources and oversee timelines and budgets including the billing of freelancers, vendors, and 3rd parties
* Support design and conceptual teams, especially in the kick-off phase or during complex challenges during the project
* Be able to confidently present project briefs in client presentation and internal discussions
* Communicate between all stakeholders involved in a project within an interdisciplinary team and with the client and their respective teams
* Support and improve internal processes and workflows in all phases of work
* Actively contribute to our company culture, mutual exchanges and inspiration

## Who are you?

Here’s what we think you need to succeed in this role:   
* Education or experience related to visual design a huge plus
* Ability to work in Confluence and Jira
* Proven track record of managing multiple projects at once
* An understanding of the basic tools of design and collaboration is a plus
* Straightforward but a good sense of humor!
* German-speaking, business fluent in English
* **Resident in Munich, or in the surrounding area**
