This role is about leading high-impact projects, ensuring quality, and driving innovation. You’ll guide a skilled team, maintain top standards in WordPress development, and act as the bridge between client needs and technical delivery.
Tasks
- Client Engagement: Serve as the primary technical liaison to clients, gathering requirements, clarifying scope, and ensuring alignment between client expectations and execution.
- Project Coordination: Lead cross-functional teams to deliver complex web development projects, managing resources, timelines, and deliverables to meet high performance and quality standards.
- Technical Planning: Translate business and design requirements into structured development plans, collaborating closely with product managers and designers.
- Architecture & Integration: Provide expert-level guidance on systems architecture, scalability, and backend/frontend integration strategies.
- Quality Assurance: Lead reviews of deliverables (design, performance, and security) to ensure adherence to best practices.
- Workflow Optimization: Improve processes such as deployment, version control, and testing, promoting automation and reliability.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Offer hands-on support for resolving complex technical issues across multiple projects.
- Team Alignment: Drive consistent engineering practices across teams to ensure maintainable, scalable solutions and minimize technical debt.
- Mentorship: Foster growth within the development team through code reviews, documentation, and structured knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Minimum 6–8 years of experience in WordPress development, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Proven track record managing complex, client-facing WordPress projects, from discovery to deployment.
- Strong expertise in WordPress architecture, performance optimization, plugins, and integrations.
- Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, testing environments, and deployment tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; able to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Passion for mentoring and developing engineering teams.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia, written and spoken.
- Based in Indonesia, with flexibility for remote work and occasional in-person meetings or travel.
