We offer innovative insurance programs for a variety of partners operating in various industries (mobile devices, electronics, hearing aids, eye ware, tires). Our insurance products are helping our partners to strengthen their core business, improve and create unique customer experience and generate attractive financial contributions both for us and our partners. We are constantly developing and introducing new offerings by combining the insurance benefits with attractive services that enable us to offer unique services to our partners' customers applying the B2B2C business model. 

We are looking for Product Owner based In Barcelona.

To strengthen our Product Development team, we are looking for a talented Product Owner. The ideal candidate is a tech-savvy person who is curious about new technologies and keen on developing a unique platform to market our insurance offers. You are a hands-on person with strong experience in designing and building digital products, aligning with developers & partners and working in agile methodologies. In your role, you will be co-responsible for the design and development of our own insurance platform and our value proposition in cyber security as well as the identification and implementation of new technologies which allow us to differentiate from competitors in the market.

## Tasks

- Team up with colleagues from the different departments to gather requirements and create use cases for the i-surance inhouse platform
- Help to design and implement our software platform to market our partners’ insurance offers with the objective of creating Platform as a Service
- Document and test new functionalities applying best practices and procedures under an agile methodology
- Identify new technologies and tools to drive efficiency and scalability to ensure differentiation in the market
- Manage and monitor our internal helpdesk and align with internal departments on system improvements, the bugs raised and the development of additional use cases to solve these bugs with a particular focus on the policy and claims lifecycle
- Create coherence on the i-surance inhouse platform and optimize the user experience and user interface together with the UX/UI designer
- Overview and maintenance of Zendesk and 8x8 such as major issues with the system or bugs and implementation of new features in Customer Care Systems, such as the integration of our internal platform with the Zendesk API
- Support the maintenance of our great team spirit

## Requirements

- Fluent in French and English, other languages are a plus (German)
- Excellent product owner skills, e.g. Scrum or Kanban
- Proven experience in working on platform as a service development
- Results-oriented and capable of making the short-term backlog tasks align with the long-term business goal, i.e. split big slices of value into smaller deliverables that add value
- Strong team spirit, enjoy working in a multi-cultural team
- Good communication skills, both written and oral
- Customer-oriented attitude
- Curious to continuously learn and explore new approaches/technologies
