Ihre Aufgaben
As General Manager of North America (m/f/d) , you will take on a key entrepreneurial role: strategically and operationally building the US subsidiary and leading the business into its next growth phase.
- Develop and implement a market-specific sales and business strategy for North America.
- Actively build new customer relationships (business development) focusing on technical trade, particularly DIY stores and tool distributors.
- Identify and realize growth opportunities in the US.
- Full P&L responsibility for the North American subsidiary
- Build and lead a small, high-performing sales team with potential for expansion.
- Maintain and expand relationships with key accounts and distribution partners.
- Work closely with the German headquarters and provide regular reporting.
Ihr Profil
- Degree in Business Administration, ideally with an MBA or comparable qualification
- Several years of successful sales experience in the DIY retail, tool trade, or technical distribution sectors in the US
- Proven track record in business development and establishing new customer structures
- Experience in leading and motivating sales teams
- Entrepreneurial mindset, hands-on mentality, and a high degree of personal responsibility
- Fluent English language skills
