Over the past two decades, Holland Bikes has grown into the leading provider of bike tours and rentals in France, operating more than 20 retail and rental locations and welcoming hundreds of thousands of customers each year.

In 2024, Holland Bikes expanded internationally with the opening of its first U.S. location in Brooklyn, New York. Located near the Brooklyn Bridge, the location offers high-quality Dutch bikes and e-bikes for rent, as well as guided tours of Brooklyn and Downtown Manhattan in multiple languages.

Following the success of the Brooklyn operation, Holland Bikes continued its New York expansion in 2025 with the opening of a second location in Midtown Manhattan, just a few blocks from Central Park. From this location, we offer bike and e-bike rentals as well as guided tours of Central Park and Manhattan.

Today, our New York operation serves visitors from around the world from two strategically located branches near two of the city's most iconic cycling destinations: Central Park and the Brooklyn Bridge.

As an Operations Associate at Holland Bikes, you play an important role in supporting the day-to-day operation of the organization and ensuring an excellent customer experience. You work closely with and report directly to the Operations Manager, providing operational support throughout the week and taking an active role in coordinating our operations during weekends.

As weekends are some of our busiest days, weekend availability is an essential part of this position. During weekend shifts, you help oversee daily operations, coordinate tours and tour guides, support store staff, handle customer and operational issues, and ensure that activities across our locations run smoothly. You act as an important operational point of contact while working within the procedures and direction established by the Operations Manager.

The role combines hands-on operational coordination with customer service, administration, and continuous improvement. You support the Operations Manager in maintaining an efficient operation while helping identify opportunities to improve our processes, customer experience, and organization.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Tour Planning & Scheduling: Support the Operations Manager with planning the daily tour schedule and coordinating tour guides based on availability, language requirements, group size, and operational needs. Monitor the schedule throughout the day and make adjustments when necessary
• Weekend Operations: Help coordinate and oversee day-to-day operations during weekends, including tours, rentals, staffing, and customer service. Serve as an operational point of contact for staff and tour guides and address issues as they arise, escalating matters to the Operations Manager when appropriate.
• Customer Support & Customer Experience: Assist customers before, during, and after their visit through email, phone, and in-person communication. Handle bookings, changes, questions, special requests, and customer concerns while maintaining Holland Bikes' standards for service and hospitality.
• Daily Operations & Team Coordination: Support communication and coordination between the Operations Manager, store staff, tour guides, and other team members. Help ensure everyone has the information and resources needed for a successful day.
• Media & Marketing Support: Assist with marketing and promotional activities, including social media, partnerships, content initiatives, and special campaigns. Support the coordination of media requests and collaborations when needed.
• Facilities & Supply Management: Help ensure our locations are organized, well maintained, and properly supplied. Monitor operational supplies and assist with purchasing, deliveries, maintenance, repairs, and other facility-related needs.
• Event Management: Assist with planning and executing private tours, corporate events, group activities, promotional events, and other special projects. Coordinate operational details with customers, partners, guides, and staff.
• Process Improvement & Growth: Work with the Operations Manager to identify opportunities to improve operational processes, efficiency, organization, and the overall customer experience. Assist with implementing new procedures, tools, and initiatives as Holland Bikes continues to grow.
• General Operational Support: Provide additional operational and administrative support to the Operations Manager and management team as needed
