Heylama is looking for a Manual and Functional Quality Assurance Engineer who takes pride in her/his attention to detail 🧐 and who is to build a product free of bugs🐞 that millions enjoy.

## Tasks

As a QA engineer in a very fast-paced startup environment, you are on a mission to ensure bug-free mobile application. You’ll work alongside our engineers and product team to test new features and investigating bug reports.

*   Meticulously QA new builds as soon as they are out to reduce the development cycle
*   Develop and implement QA processes and best practices for functional/manual testing of mobile app builds.
*   Design, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure quality control for app releases.
*   Participate in product planning and discussions to identify edge-cases and create comprehensive user stories and requirements.
*   Identify, isolate, and document bugs and defects, and collaborate with developers and product to prioritize and resolve them.
*   Provide regular status reports on testing activities, including identified issues and progress toward quality objectives

## Requirements

*   proficient in English
*   access to an iPhone (models X and newer) for app testing
*   solid grasp of UI/UX principles and a keen eye for design and layout discrepancies
*   experience in running a React Native app in the OS X simulator for debugging
*   knows how to debug mobile applications to create very specific error reports
*   understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and their role in QA
*   experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases

**Strong** **Plus**

*   familiarity with automated testing tools and frameworks, such as Jest, Cypress, Detox, or Appium
*   knowledge of CI/CD tools
