Aufgaben

What is this job about?
As our Founding Frontend Developer (m/f/d) you will shape our product and app landscape. Your role has the opportunity to scale our apps and to build a great team around it. With your expertise, you will make fundamental decisions regarding the product and its underlying tech stack to deliver a polished app experience to our users.

Qualifikation

Who are you?

You consider yourself a Product Engineer: Your job is way more than code. You should be eager to take part in the entire product life cycle: managing the product, iterating the product requirements with designers, establishing processes that help us iterate fast and confident. You are always curious and open to new challenges and learning opportunities.

You want to grow: As our first developer, you will have significant impact on our journey as a company and we expect you to grow with it. You are encouraged to find your own path and grow into a lead role that fits you well.

You enjoy working with frontend technologies (web or mobile) and have a good grasp of modern tech stacks and a proven track record of making good use out of them (professionally or in personal projects).

You craft high quality software: We don’t take shortcuts. A feature is done when it’s fully working and tested. You are responsible for the code you write and we expect you to always prioritize correctness.

You love beautiful user interfaces: You don’t have to be a designer, but you should recognise a delightful app when you come across it. With our existing components, you should be able to create new features that blend into the app nicely.

You are based in Germany: We believe that developers should also be users who are constantly developing and improving the product. Therefore, we limit applications to German residents.

Benefits

What do we offer?

Competitive salaray: depending on experience, individual performance and company success

We embrace flexible and exciting benefits: That’s why we provide 50 € additional net monthly benefit budget straight into your pocket with our HelloBonnie Benefit Smartcard

Use our Smartcard for your shared mobility, fitness membership, concert tickets or your favorite café around the corner - treat yourself with anything that brings you joy :)

An employee stock option program (VSOP) with 1.0% - 1.5% equity

A working environment of high flexibility, responsibility, and autonomy - you decide where and when you work, and you’ll have full ownership of your responsibilities

Company team events and strategy off-sites: We frequently come together to iterate and celebrate!

Everybody needs time to load the batteries - enjoy 28 days paid time off (PTO)

State-of-the art hardware, we provide you with the equipment of your choice

Close collaboration with our founding team Niklas (CTO) & Max (CEO)

Opportunity for rapid career progression to „Head of“ level with personnel responsibility

Be one of the first employees, shape HelloBonnie’s vision and grow with the company

What does our process look like?

Send us your application, and we’ll reach out to you for a casual video chat if we think you might be a good fit. The aim is simply to get to know you a bit better and give you an overview of who we are and what we are building.

In the second step we’ll get a bit more hands-on as the next step: we’ll have a “technical interview” where you can demonstrate your expertise.

Before our last step we will review your work samples or give you a small take-home challenge.

Finally you will have last chat or meeting with the entire founding team before we make you an offer!

At HelloBonnie, inclusivity is our core value. We wholeheartedly welcome everyone, regardless of gender identity, age, sexual orientation, origin, religion, worldview, or disabilities. None of these factors affect your potential at HelloBonnie. What matters most is that both you and us feel a sense of belonging, ensuring that you are an essential part of our community.
Join us and be a key part of our journey!
