At Handly, we support up-and-coming entrepreneurs to launch, manage and grow their own home service businesses (Handwerk). We help them setup their company, build their website, optimize for local SEO, and generate leads. On top of that, they get the software to handle everything—from writing quotes and invoices to closing deals and managing jobs efficiently.

Essentially, we build incredible success stories with people who are true experts in their craft—just like you. These are highly skilled, technical professionals creating real value for their customers. Demand for their services far outweighs supply, and their clients are deeply grateful for the work they deliver through handly.

We earn money through a revenue share of our home service businesses. This aligns our incentives 100%—meaning incredible transparency and trust between us and the business owners. We have never had churn, ever.

We’re backed by top-tier VCs like Harry Stebbings (20VC), Fred Destin (Stride), and Base10 (US based fund). We also have incredible advisors, including Ershad Jamil (former Chief Growth Officer at ServiceTitan), who helped scale the company into the world’s largest home services platform—now publicly listed at a $10B market cap.

**This is the job to be done:**

You will have full ownership of the tech team, driving the execution of our product. We love shipping fast—every new release is celebrated by both our team and our customers.

*   You’ll be 70% player, 30% coach—spending most of your time hands-on coding.
*   Set the quality bar for every engineer—your team will only rise to the standard you uphold.
*   Stay on top of the latest best practices and ensure processes are designed to maximize iteration speed and execution.

**These are some of the things we will build into the product in the next couple of months:**

*   Payments via virtual IBANs
*   VOIP-phone calling via API + SDKs
*   AI outbound & inbound calls for our customers
*   Performance & business analytics dashboard
*   Digital debt collection via API for our customers
*   AI generated quotes

## Requirements

*   Berlin-based or willing to relocate (we can help on that)
*   Willing to work from the office. Every day.

**Our tech stack:**

*   Flutter mobile application
*   Angular web application
*   .NET web API
*   Associated infrastructure in AWS powered by Terraform

**Process:**

1.  30 min: Introduction with Basti (Founder)
2.  60-90min: In person with Basti for Culture Fit & Vision Alignment.
3.  1h: Tech chat with Sean (our former CTO)
4.  Offer & Meet the team you would be leading.
