To support our IT Infrastructure & Security team, we are looking for a highly motivated and experienced: 

**Senior Linux Engineer**

## Tasks

*   Ensuring trouble-free and permanent operation of the IT infrastructure 
*   Administration and development of the complex Linux environment 
*   Infrastructure Automation (configuration-management) 
*   Creating and updating documentation 
*   Close collaboration with Windows engineering, software development and other business units 
*   Trend scouting (focus on technology and security) 
*   Second-level support/troubleshooting and root cause analysis for technical problems

## Requirements

*   Several years of professional experience in the Linux environment, preferably in a similar position/environment
*   Excellent Linux system administration and troubleshooting skills
*   Sound knowledge in Linux monitoring
*   Good practical knowledge of Ansible, hands-on with Git/GitLab and Jira
*   Cloud experience (Azure) and hands-on with containerization are very  
    beneficial  
*   Practical scripting knowledge (shell/bash, Python)
*   Good knowledge of security standards and practices
*   High level of security awareness
*   Understanding cloud technology and containers is an advantage
*   Team player with multicultural sensitivity
*   Entrepreneurial, innovative thinking and acting
*   High demand for quality, conceptual understanding, and attention to detail
*   Good analytical skills and fast comprehension
*   Good knowledge of the entire IT infrastructure environment
*   Excellent English skills
*   Ability for on-call duty
