To support our Finance & Accounting team, we are looking for an experienced and motivated
Senior Accountant DE/EN 100%
Tasks
- Book and reconcile accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Generate invoices for accounts receivable
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements following Swiss Code of Obligations guidelines, along with various tasks like analysis and statistical evaluation
- Periodical declaration of VAT, calculation of tax provision and preparation of tax return
- Assist in preparation of annual financial statements based on IFRS standards
- Help with year-end tasks and support in audit preparations
- Prepare financial reports
- Handle daily accounting tasks
Requirements
- Swiss Federal Diploma in finance and accounting or an equivalent degree
- Several years of professional experience in a similar position, preferably in an international working environment
- Fluent in English & German
- Proficiency in accounting software (Infoniqa) and MS Office (proficient in Excel)
- Familiarity with GAAP and regulatory requirements, and with IFRS experience being highly beneficial
- Strong attention to detail, analytical and able to work on multiple assignments
- Professional, discreet and reliable
