__How could you imagine your work week as a Python Software Engineer at gridX?__ 

As a Python Software Engineer at gridX, you will __work closely with industry energy experts__ to develop and maintain our __energy management system__ applications __written in Python__ and running in the cloud or on gridBox. You will also __design code for testability and for future feature variations__ and __improving the scalability and efficiency of the code base__. You will support like everyone in the team in __maintaining and troubleshooting our running applications__, making sure we choose __pragmatic solutions instead of getting lost in details__.

__Responsibility:__ You take ownership of the features you develop and run them in production (__You built it, you run it__) and are responsible for __creating and maintaining REST APIs__. Since you already have __more than 2 years of full-time experience__ as a software engineer and are at an intermediate level, you also take __responsibility for junior developers in the OptiFra team__ by supporting them in the introduction of new functions and encouraging them to develop a critical eye.

__This is what you ideally bring as a Python Software Engineer__

* As we are looking for someone at an intermediate level full time, you already have __2 years of work experience__ in __Python software development__, __Cloud__, __REST API__ and have worked in a software team.
* You have also worked with cloud technologies (__AWS__) as part of your work experience
* You are not only an engineer, but also a software developer.
