Besides marketing industrial sensors for laser power metering and for assessing insulation properties of buildings, we also offer a unique core body temperature measurement solution (CALERA®) for wearable devices. To strengthen our Uval/Inno Business Unit Sales team, we are seeking a motivated intern with a background in sales or marketing for a 6-month assignment.
Start Date: ~January 2026.
Tasks
You will receive mentoring and training to progressively take ownership of the following Sales and Marketing activities within the Uval/Inno Business Unit:
- Sales support: qualifying inbound leads, preparing demo materials, and maintaining the CRM.
- Market research: creating concise market snapshots (stakeholders, use cases, competitor analysis) for key target segments.
- Marketing: running LinkedIn and email campaigns (HubSpot), creating short posts and case-study briefs, coordinating landing page/newsletter updates, and producing simple product content (e.g., short videos, basic edits).
- Analytics & reporting: maintaining monthly KPIs (lead generation, engagement, MQL→SQL conversion, pipeline velocity).
- Process improvement: supporting content enhancement and ensuring brand consistency.
Requirements
- Current student or recent graduate in Business, Marketing, or a technical field (e.g., Engineering, Physics, Building Engineering).
- Strong curiosity for thermal R&D or building physics, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear marketing and sales messages.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook); experience with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot) and LinkedIn outreach; a basic understanding of A/B testing is an advantage.
- Solid analytical skills and high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Fluent in English (C1); German is an asset.
Additional requirements:
- A valid Swiss working permit is a must.
- Available to work on-site in Rümlang, Switzerland.
