Besides marketing industrial sensors for laser power metering and for assessing insulation properties of buildings, we also provide a unique core body temperature measurement solution (CALERA®) for wearable devices. The company develops, manufactures, and markets all solutions at our headquarters in Rümlang, Switzerland.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Intern to join our business development team, focusing on the expansion of our workforce safety business unit. This division is dedicated to protecting workers, particularly firefighters, military personnel, factory and construction workers from heat-induced illnesses.

By leading initiatives in the occupational health market, you’ll refine your customer-engagement skills while driving the adoption of next-generation safety solutions. Your Responsibilities:

• IoT Platform Development:
  Collaborate with the development team to translate customer needs into platform functionalities. Prior IoT experience is not required but is highly advantageous for greater involvement in in-house development.
• Support R&D during the design phase:
  Collaborate with the R&D team at a high level to design and develop innovative work safety hardware.
• Customer Support:
  Assist customers during the evaluation process with product and application-related inquiries.

You are a student or just graduated and you are looking for an internship in an entrepreneurial atmosphere for the duration of 6 months or more. You are available starting as soon as possible. You are motivated to work for a Swiss scaleup, able to learn fast and independently, and you have good communication skills (in English and preferably in German as well, other languages are an asset).

A valid Swiss working permit is required.

What We're Looking For:

• Enrolled in or recently completed studies in Engineering, software development or a related field.
• Strong interest in wearable technology, IoT platforms, and occupational health applications.
• Analytical thinker with strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with IoT, UX design or CRM tools, is a plus but not mandatory.
