Mobile Cleaning Operative

Green Fox Cleaning is looking for a reliable and experienced cleaner with a full UK driving licence to help cover shifts across our sites in the Brighton & Hove area joining us as a mobile cleaning team member.

There is the option to use a company vehicle for the role, or use your own car and receive payment for mileage and parking costs.

Please note if you are using our vehicles, you must meet the following criteria for insurance purposes:

• Aged 25 years or above
• Held a full UK driving licence for at least 2 years, or held an EU licence for over two years which you have transferred for a UK driving licence with your original pass date.

This role is all about supporting our teams by covering holiday and sickness, helping keep our clients’ spaces clean and well looked after.

Hours

• 4-6 hours per day
• Mostly Monday to Friday, 4pm–10pm
• Flexibility to work additional daytime hours between 8am and 3pm, in addition to core evening hours
• This is a role where the location you work and hours often change at short notice - if you like the buzz of a dynamic changing working environment - this is for you!

On-Call (Paid)

As part of on call team, you will be on standby if called by an on call manager to cover short notice sickness. A summary of how this works is as below

• One weekend every 4 weeks
• Available 8am–4pm, Saturday & Sunday
• £50 standby payment per on-call weekend
• Paid extra for any hours worked

What You’ll Be Doing

• Cleaning a range of sites including schools, medical centres, offices, and more
• Covering shifts when team members are off
• Travelling between sites
• Being friendly, professional, and representing Green Fox Cleaning well

What We’re Looking For

• Full UK driving licence held for at least 2 years (or full EU licence to exchange)
• Aged 25+ for vehicle insurance if using our vehicle
• Previous commercial cleaning experience
• Positive attitude and dependable work ethic
• Happy to work independently and move between sites
