Green Energy Venture, part of oe energy, is a consulting and service company operating along the renewable energy value chain. We have been connecting technology and financial markets on three continents for over two decades. Our fields of expertise are engineering, transaction management, TA (Technical Advisory) and high-level services, which are necessary for the realization of projects in renewable energies. We are currently moving more than 8 GW in our internal projects – from their development to grid connection along our core competencies.

Tasks

  • You drive sales and exceed annual revenue targets.
  • You cooperate with technical teams to sell into an existing client base.
  • You pursue commercial opportunities and identify growth areas which deliver value.
  • You support commercial strategy.
  • You draft quotes, contract estimates and leads tenders.
  • You negotiate deals and contracts.
  • You build trusted client relations.
  • You analyse and track global market, technology, competitor, customer requirements and trends related to the product.
  • You determine competitive attributes, prioritization and value proposition. And you identify needs, opportunities and risks.
  • You align internally with operational and technical teams during deal process to ensure seamless execution after contract award.

Requirements

  • Completed master’s degree, doctor or comparable qualification in the field of business administration or engineering
  • +7 years of professional experience in Commerce and Sales
  • Experience with CRM systems
  • Proven track record to generate sales and closing deals
  • Good knowledge of the renewable energy markets (PV, Wind, BESS…), drivers and trends
  • Professional experience in advisory or consultancy and the renewable energy industry
  • High resilience, entrepreneurial spirit, confident and strong communication skills
  • International experience
  • Capability and maturity to engage on C-level and senior leadership level
  • Minimum knowledge of C1 level in English and German (Swiss German is considered a plus)
  • Willingness to travel internationally (<10%)
  • Well-structured, organized, and service-oriented way of working
  • Quick comprehension and independent working
