We are currently looking for a __People Operations Specialist (m/f/d), Dutch & English Speaking__ to join our People & Culture Team __in Amsterdam__. Our People & Culture team enables employees to contribute to business growth. Encompassing the four disciplines of HR, Office Management, IT Support, and Talent & Acquisition as a whole, we help the GSG culture thrive with global initiatives. As a trusted partner, we drive the employee journey by attracting, equipping, and developing global teams. Amongst many exciting challenges, you will: 

* Be the go-to person when it comes to employee experience for all our people in the Netherlands. This includes keeping up with all administration (vacation, sick leave, special leave, pregnancy, benefits...) across the employee lifecycle from on- to offboarding.
* Be in charge with HR paperwork and ensure we are compliant with local legislation (contracts, amendments, reference letters, confirmations, VISA etc.)
* Improve our HR reporting and ensure its accuracy by managing the data in our HRIS
* Provide payroll and be a sparring partner to our external payroll partner
* Set up and maintain an internal handbook to document all operational processes
* Be open to learning and supporting other locations (to be defined)
* Support on Global HR and HRIS projects for continuous improvement of the employee experience

* Desire to really make an impact on an ever-evolving company and growing company
* At least 3 years professional experience in an HR operations / HR Generalist of ​​a rapidly growing environment
* Experience in overseeing and processing Dutch Payroll with knowledge of Dutch labour law
* A structured and detail-oriented working style
* Positive mindset with customer focus to have high impact our culture
* Effective and empathic style of communicating
* Fluency in written and spoken __Dutch and English__
