Our client specializes in predictive maintenance and operational improvement solutions for industrial machinery. Their technology functions like a "fitness tracker" for machines, utilizing AI and IoT to monitor equipment condition, detect micrometer-sized mechanical degradations, and provide actionable insights to enhance efficiency and sustainability. Their solutions are designed for complex machines in sectors such as aerospace, automotive, and mining, aiming to maximize machine availability, productivity, and product quality while reducing costs.

In the course of the further expansion of our client we are looking for a

Sales Manager DACH (m/f/d)

responsible for acquiring new customers as well as further developing and expanding the existing customer base, with clear focus on new customer acquisition in the target geography DACH.

Aufgaben

  • Researching, formulating and executing an operative sales strategy for the defined geography encompassing all three customer segments (end customers, service partners and machine builders)
  • Development and execution general marketing and lead generation campaigns in close cooperation with Marketing
  • Qualify leads and nurture for sales readiness
  • Engagement with qualified leads to evaluate needs and present solutions that can be turned into deals
  • Negotiation and conclusion of deals
  • Ensure proper hand-over to Customer Operations for delivery
  • Nurture relationships with current customers to prepare for upselling
  • Establish and nurture ways to support partner customers to engage with their customers in representing our offering

Qualifikation

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent work experience
  • Several years (>5 years) of sales experience, in the machinery or service partner
  • Experience in independent new customer acquisition
  • Experience in conducting negotiations
  • Strong network in the service and/or manufacturing environment and/or relevant target customer segments
  • Basic technical understanding or experience with technical products
  • Fluent in English and German
