Ghostnote is a fast-growing music startup based in Berlin. Since launching in 2025, our mission has been to create the biggest label you’ve never heard of. At Ghostnote, we create ambient music universes with their own identities — shaped by shared moods, passions, and repeat rituals.
We mix startup energy with a deep love for music, creative design, and community-building. While we’re data-driven and use technology to inform our concepts, we always trust our creative vision, building on years of experience creating global music brands. Right now, we are a team of 4, based in Neukölln.
Tasks
Video Ad Editing & Creative (Primary Focus)
- Edit and optimize short-form ad creatives for Instagram and Facebook with a focus on engagement and performance
- Take raw assets (UGC, AI clips, animated/stock visuals, music) and rapidly edit them into multiple ad variations
- Adapt creative assets (music, visuals, typography) into compelling short-form ad formats
- Heavily leverage AI tools to accelerate content production and testing
- Ensure all ads meet platform requirements and best practices
- Test different hooks, formats, and creative approaches to maximize ad performance
- Collaborate with the team to iterate on winning creative concepts
- Occasional support creating artworks for new releases and playlists
Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in short-form video editing or ad creative production (internships and freelance work count)
- Proficiency in video editing tools (Capcut, Adobe Premiere, or similar)
- Strong sense of visual storytelling and what makes content engaging in the first 3 seconds
- Experience with different generative AI tools for video and image creation, such as Midjourney, Sora, Grok, ChatGPT
- Familiarity with Instagram and Facebook ad formats and what performs well
- Proactive and autonomous. You have a strong sense of ownership and can execute on a high-level goal without constant oversight
- Comfortable working fast and iterating—this role is about volume and speed as much as craft
- Eagerness to learn about paid media, performance marketing, and what makes ads convert
- You'll join us in our Berlin office 3 days each week to collaborate closely as a team
Note: This is not a videographer or YouTube creator role—it's focused specifically on short-form ad editing and rapid variation creation.
