- is a globally operating and leading player in European Starches & Sweeteners food ingredients manufacturing industry to food, industrial and animal nutrition applications.
- With a strong commitment to innovation, sustainability, and customer satisfaction, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Sales Manager to help expand our footprint in the European market.
Position Overview
- We are looking for an experienced and driven Regional Sales Manager for Europe to join our growing team.
- The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the food ingredients and modified food starches market and a proven track record in customer leadership.
- This role requires a flexible mindset, excellent relationship-building skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- The position will be based in North-West Europe, with a preference for Amsterdam, The Netherlands and Germany Region.
Tasks
- Sales Leadership: Lead and manage sales activities across the European region, with a focus on growing our Europe’s presence in the modified food starches market
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve profitability targets and market growth.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and Maintain strong relationships with selection of enterprise key accounts, regional accounts and distributors, understanding their needs, and positioning our solutions to meet their demands.
- Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities within targeted market segments savory sauces & dressings, convenience, soups, cream, dairy desserts and dry mixes, collaborating with R&D and technical teams to deliver innovation and tailored solutions.
- Market Expertise: Stay ahead of market trends, competitive activities, and customer requirements to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, production, and technical support, to align goals and ensure seamless delivery of products and services.
- Travel: Visit customers across Europe and travel occasionally to the our plant i for team alignment and strategy development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Food Science, Food Technoloy or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum 15 years of direct sales experience in the food ingredients industry, with a focus on food ingredients and modified food starches or related products B-2-B.
- Proven track record of customer and market leadership leadership, with experience managing and growing relationships with key accounts and distributors.
- Strong market knowledge of modified food starches and the European food ingredients sector, affinity with technical sales and application management is a strong plus
- Medior/Senior level experience with a flexible, adaptable mindset to handle changing market dynamics.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
- Ability to work independently, remotely and as part of a collaborative team.
- Willingness to travel within the region as needed.
