Project Engineer -Energy Infrastructure (LNG Focus)

In 2023, we became the lead consultant and On-Site Operations Manager for Deutsche Energy Terminal GmbH (DET)—Germany’s state-owned terminal operator, created to respond to the national energy supply challenges triggered by the Ukraine crisis.

• Support the technical planning and execution of LNG infrastructure projects
• Prepare and review engineering designs, technical specifications, and project documentation to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with project objectives
• Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and resolve technical issues
• Support construction and commissioning teams with engineering solutions and clarifications
• Contribute risk assessments, quality assurance, and compliance with safety and environmental standards
• Provide technical input during project development, procurement, and construction phases
• Collaborate with project managers and senior engineers to ensure smooth project delivery

• Master's degree in mechanical, chemical, civil, or electrical engineering (or related field)
• 3–6 years of experience in engineering roles within the energy, oil & gas, or infrastructure sectors
• Familiarity with LNG systems, process engineering, or terminal operations is a strong advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in engineering software tools (e.g., AutoCAD or similar, MS Office)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Fluent in English and German or other languages are a plus
• Willingness to travel internationally as needed
