As QA Engineering Lead (m/f/d) your work will be a critical part of accomplishing this mission.You will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing testing strategies, mentoring a talented team of QA engineers, and ensuring seamless, high-quality releases. Your Key Responsibilities:
Testing and Quality Assurance:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies for web and mobile applications across various platforms.
- Perform manual and automated testing, ensuring functionality, performance, and security.
- Utilize modern testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Postman, Cypress) for efficient test coverage.
- Document and prioritize defects, collaborating with Development and Product Teams for resolution.
Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
- Manage team workloads and ensure timely delivery of testing outcomes.
- Promote a culture of innovation and accountability within the team.
Release and Delivery:
- Oversee QA processes to ensure high-quality software releases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline release workflows and mitigate risks.
Agile Development and Delivery:
- Integrate QA processes into Agile workflows and participate in sprint activities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define acceptance criteria and ensure testability.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software QA, including at least 2 years in a leadership or team lead role.
- Demonstrated expertise in testing both web and mobile applications, including proficiency in automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress).
- Strong knowledge of Agile development and delivery processes, including familiarity with Scrum or Kanban.
- Proficiency in QA and related tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or similar test management systems.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI).
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications in QA (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE)
- Experience in performance and security testing using tools like JMeter, OWASP ZAP, or similar.
- Familiarity with cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and Microservices architecture testing.
