Product Owner - Innovation & Market Data

Your responsibilities

• Product Ownership – you drive the continuous development of our market and financial data module with a clear focus on product value. You prioritize features based on user feedback, business impact, and technical feasibility, pushing forward the ongoing improvement of our software.
• Market & Financial Data – you are familiar with key data sources (e.g., pricing, reference data, indices) and understand their relevance for asset managers and their end clients. You assess data quality, ensure regulatory compliance, and create data-driven solutions that deliver real value.
• Quantitative Expertise – you have a strong understanding of financial mathematics, quantitative models, and calculation principles. This enables you to accurately assess requirements and interpret functional specifications at a high professional level.
• Stakeholder Enablement – you serve as the central interface between product, engineering, sales, and our partners. You ensure clear communication, systematically gather requirements, and orchestrate implementation within an agile environment.

Your profile

• Degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science or a related field
• 2 years of experience as a Product Owner, ideally in a FinTech, banking, or investment context
• Strong understanding of market and financial data (e.g., pricing feeds, reference data, indices)
• Basic Familiarity with financial models, metrics, and their practical application
• Hands-on experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools like Jira, Confluence, etc.
• Ability to break down complex requirements into actionable epics and user stories
• Confident stakeholder management across diverse groups (business, tech, clients, partners)
• Excellent communication skills, analytical mindset, and attention to detail
• Curiosity, a drive for innovation, and a genuine passion for continuous improvement
