At FimmCyte Therapeutics, an innovative leader in biotech, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Operations focusing on advancing a novel molecule from development candidate to IND approval and beyond. Our company, with a close-knit team is committed to advancing cutting-edge therapeutics for large unmet needs. As VP of Operations, you will independently drive our endometriosis program through non-clinical development and CMC to ensure the successful progression towards the clinic. This position offers a unique opportunity to experience how a fast paced biotech operates with direct access to executives and the board. That in addition to the chance to drive the end-to-end development process of a novel molecule towards the clinic.

Tasks

  • Lead overall execution of advancing our antibody program from development candidate (DC) to IND approval
  • Direct and oversee CMC, non-clinical safety, pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, and toxicology studies.
  • Manage the budget and timelines
  • Manage and build relationships with global CROs and CDMOs
  • Ensure effective outsourcing strategies, vendor qualification, contract negotiations, and long-term partnerships.
  • Interface with potential pharma partners to ensure the timely delivery of milestones
  • Drive effective program timelines, resource allocation, and strong project management execution.
  • Manage regulatory requirements in US, EU, and Australia

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in project management in small to medium biotech or pharmaceutical organizations, >10 years preferred
  • Minimum 5 years Experience in biologics non-clinical development and CMC
  • Minimum 1 previous programs taken from DC to IND approval
  • Proven experience managing CROs and CDMOs globally
  • Strong project management background with demonstrated ability to deliver results on-time and within scope and budget.
  • Strongly independent, can-do attitude, detail oriented, striving for maximum quality, speed and cost efficiency.
  • Startup or small biotech experience is a strong plus
  • Willing to travel 20% of the time globally
  • Valid work authorization in Switzerland
