Requirement Engineer & Technical Writer (80-100%)

We are seeking a meticulous and versatile professional who will bridge the gap between stakeholders, development teams, and documentation needs. This role combines requirements engineering, technical writing, and business analysis to ensure clear communication, accurate specifications, and high-quality deliverables throughout our product and service lifecycle. You will be joining a fast-paced business and a highly motivated team with a client-first and make-things-happen DNA.

• Gather, analyse, and document functional and non-functional requirements from stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into clear, actionable specifications for development teams and maintain traceability of requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
• Create and maintain user manuals and release notes and technical documentation for both our client-facing products, as well as internal systems.
• Obtain a deep understanding of our products and services and translate this information into simple, detailed, accessible and easy to follow content for our internal and external users
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and requirement validation sessions.
• Own and develop innovative approaches for improvement of our product & services including documentation

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Business Administration
• Minimum three years of relevant work experience in requirements engineering and technical writing, ideally in a payment (bank) and/or Multibanking (fintech) related area.
• Certification in Business Analysis and/or Requirements Engineering
• Familiar with requirements management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence,) and other documentation and modelling tools (e.g. Office suite, XML/UML, BPMN, Enterprise Architect)
• Experience with payment industry-related terminology and phrasing.
• Experience in dealing with development teams and business analysts to gain product and service background knowledge.
• Native English speaker preferred, at least C2 Proficiency level both English and German.
• Ability to work independently and within a collaborative environment both on-site and remote.
