Extropy is seeking a Junior Solution Architect to support the design, configuration, and implementation of AP Automation, Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and related financial process automation solutions.The ideal candidate brings strong foundational knowledge of financial systems, a passion for problem-solving, and the ability to learn and apply Extropy’s delivery standards within collaborative, cross-functional teams. The role offers hands-on exposure to leading platforms such as Basware, Esker, and similar automation tools, while supporting client-facing projects and building toward full solution ownership.
Tasks
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the setup, configuration, and documentation of Basware / Esker modules and related financial automation tools.
- Assist in preparing solution design documentation and configuration trackers.
- Participate in requirements gathering and design workshops; translate notes into configuration or testing artifacts.
- Execute assigned configuration and testing tasks under supervision.
- Validate integration of inputs/outputs, perform test case execution, and document outcomes.
- Maintain Asana tracking for configuration, testing, and UAT readiness.
- Escalate design and integration issues promptly to mid/senior architects.Contribute to continuous improvement by documenting lessons learned and reusable assets.

- Accuracy and timeliness of configuration delivery.
- Completeness of documentation and handoff materials.
- Minimal rework due to configuration or setup errors.

Requirements
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in P2P, AP Automation, or ERP configuration.
- Working knowledge of Basware, Esker, or similar systems (training supported).
- Familiarity with AP and procurement business processes.
- Ability to follow structured delivery methodology (Asana, QA, and documentation discipline).
- Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and curiosity to learn architecture practices.
Experience & Education Requirements:
Experience:
- 1–3 years of experience in AP Automation, P2P, ERP configuration, or related financial systems implementation.
- Hands-on exposure to Basware, Esker, or similar financial process automation platforms preferred.
- Familiarity with ERP integration concepts (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.) and financial processes such as invoice processing, PO management, and supplier onboarding.
- Experience supporting or participating in solution design workshops, configuration documentation, and testing cycles.
- Basic understanding of SSO, data flows, and integration concepts is a plus.
Experience using project and collaboration tools such as Asana, SharePoint, Lucidchart, and PowerPoint for documentation and delivery tracking.
Education: Bachelor's degree in business, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field. Equivalent hands-on experience in financial technology or automation solutions will also be considered.
