___WHAT YOU WILL DO___  

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as the Head of Ecommerce Analysis or Head of Data. As a rapidly growing e-commerce company, we rely heavily on data-driven decision-making and leverage various marketing channels to drive our business forward. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the analysis and interpretation of data related to our e-commerce operations and marketing strategies. Your insights and recommendations will directly impact our business growth and contribute to our continued success. 

Specifically, the primary responsibilities of the future position holder include:

* __Lead the Ecommerce Analysis Team__: Manage and guide a team of data analysts and specialists, providing mentorship, support, and strategic direction. Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
* __Data Analysis and Interpretation__: Conduct in-depth analysis of data from various sources, including but not limited to website analytics, customer behavior, sales trends, and marketing campaigns. Identify patterns, trends, and key insights to drive business strategies and optimize performance.
* __Performance Tracking and Reporting__: Develop and implement robust reporting frameworks to monitor KPIs for e-commerce operations, marketing channels, and campaigns. Regularly communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels, including senior management.
* __Marketing Channel Optimization__: Collaborate with marketing teams to analyze the effectiveness and ROI of different marketing channels, such as SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, and affiliate programs. Identify opportunities for optimization and provide strategic recommendations to maximize channel performance.
* __A/B Testing and Experimentation__: Design and oversee A/B tests and experiments to optimize website features.
* __Technology and Emerging Trends__: Staying abreast of technological advancements and emerging trends is crucial for this role. The head should actively explore how new technologies, such as artificial intelligence, automation, can be integrated into the organization's operations and processes to drive innovation.
* __Data Governance and Compliance__: Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR). Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures to maintain data quality and accuracy.
* __Collaboration and Cross-functional Support__: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, IT, marketing, and finance, to align data analysis efforts with business goals and priorities. Provide data-driven insights to support decision-making across departments.

___WHAT YOU BRING IN___  

* Bachelor's degree in data science, statistics, business analytics, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
* Proven experience (5+ years) in a similar role, preferably in the e-commerce industry.
* Strong expertise in data analysis, data visualization, and statistical modeling techniques.
* E-commerce Knowledge: Deep understanding of e-commerce operations, including customer lifecycle, funnel analysis, conversion rate optimization, and digital marketing channels. Familiarity with common e-commerce platforms and tools is a plus.
* Business Acumen: Ability to translate data insights into strategic recommendations and business outcomes. Understand key performance metrics and business drivers within the e-commerce industry.
* Analytical Skills: Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data sets, extract actionable insights, and present findings to non-technical stakeholders. Proficiency in using data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, or similar.
* Leadership and Team Management: Proven track record of successfully leading and managing a team of data analysts. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to inspire and motivate team members.
* Technical Skills: Familiarity with data visualization tools such as, Power BI, or similar. Experience with web analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics) and data tracking implementation is highly desirable.
* Problem-solving and Decision-making: Strong critical thinking skills to identify problems, develop hypotheses, and provide data-driven solutions. Ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
* Communication and Presentation: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey complex analytical concepts and findings to both technical and non-technical
