FP&A Controller

WORK LOCATION: Berlin (hybrid, min. 2 days in the office / week)

FULL-TIME

As an FP&A Controller, you will play an important role in supporting our financial planning and analysis efforts across the organization. You will contribute to forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting processes, while collaborating with different business functions to provide insights that support decision-making. You will also assist in preparing business cases and supporting strategic initiatives aimed at driving growth.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Supporting the planning process by preparing input and assisting in developing realistic budgets and forecasts that align with the company’s strategic goals.
• Assisting the Business Unit Leadership team in tracking performance and highlighting key areas requiring attention or improvement.
• Maintaining and updating short- and mid-term financial forecasts, including monthly and quarterly outlooks and annual budgets.
• Preparing presentations and financial analyses in response to ad hoc requests from leadership and stakeholders.
• Contributing to monthly reporting by tracking key financial indicators such as margins, costs, volumes, and working capital.
• Assisting in the preparation of external financial materials, including reports for investors and banking partners.
• Analyzing financial results against forecasts and budgets, and providing clear explanations for variances.
• Collaborating with business teams to provide financial insights that support decision-making and improve business performance.
• Supporting deep-dive analyses on selected topics, such as product performance, sourcing efficiency, or cost structure.
• Assisting in reviewing investment opportunities by supporting ROI calculations and helping prioritize projects.
• Cooperating with Supply Chain Finance and other cross-functional teams in month-end processes, ensuring accurate reporting.

• Taking part in financial reviews and audit support related to key profitability drivers.

  WHAT YOU BRING IN:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus
• 3–5 years of experience in FP&A, controlling or similar finance roles
• Previous experience in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment (e-commerce, marketplace, retail or FMCG) is a strong asset
• Solid skills in financial modelling, budgeting and forecasting
• Hands-on experience in preparing management reports and supporting financial decision-making
• Analytical mindset and ability to translate financial data into business insights
• Knowledge of IFRS is a must; knowledge of German GAAP (HGB) would be a huge asset
• Proficiency in Excel and common financial planning tools
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Fluent in English.

• Proficiency in German will be a strong advantage.
