**_WHAT YOU WILL DO_** 

As a Data Scientist, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and interpreting complex data sets to extract actionable insights that drive key business decisions. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will have the opportunity to explore, model, and visualize data from various sources, uncovering patterns and trends to improve overall business performance and customer satisfaction. 

Specifically, the primary responsibilities of the future position holder include:

* **Data Analysis and Modeling:**  
   * Apply advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to analyze large volumes of structured and unstructured data.  
   * Develop predictive and prescriptive models to optimize pricing, marketing budget, customer segmentation, and other business operations.  
   * Identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in data, providing meaningful insights and recommendations to stakeholders.  
   * Conduct A/B testing and experimentation to evaluate the effectiveness of business strategies and initiatives.
* **Data Visualization and Reporting:**  
   * Create visually compelling dashboards that effectively communicate insights  
   * Present findings in a clear and concise manner,  
   * Collaborate with business teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and establish metrics for tracking business goals.
* **Data Quality and Governance:**  
   * Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of data  
   * Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to identify and resolve data-related issues and improve data accessibility and availability.
* **Cross-functional Collaboration:**  
   * Collaborate with teams across the organization, including marketing, sales, operations, and finance, to identify data needs, define analytical requirements, and provide data-driven insights.

## _WHAT YOU BRING IN_

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
* Proven experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning techniques.
* Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
* Strong knowledge of data visualization tools and techniques (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to present findings effectively.
* Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities with a strong attention to detail.
* Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
* Experience in the e-commerce industry or related field is preferred but not required.
