Position Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic CEO based in the Netherlands to lead their operations and expansion. The ideal candidate has a strong background in payment company, public presence, and significant leadership experience. This role requires a forward-thinking individual capable of building the business from the ground up, creating a recognizable brand, and driving the company’s strategic vision in the rapidly evolving fintech and cryptocurrency sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and scale the business from scratch, developing it into a leading name in the crypto banking space.
• Lead the creation of the brand, ensuring strong market positioning and recognition.
• Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing team across various functions.
• Establish and optimize business processes and operations for efficiency and scalability.
• Oversee all operational activities, ensuring smooth execution across departments.
• Manage company budgets and resources, ensuring financial sustainability and growth.
• Ensure full compliance with relevant regulations and legal requirements in all operational jurisdictions.
• Engage with stakeholders, including clients, investors, and regulators, to ensure alignment with the company’s goals and vision.

Qualifications:

• Extensive leadership experience in the payments or fintech industry.
• Proven track record of building and scaling businesses, preferably in fintech, neobanking, or cryptocurrency.
• Strong understanding of financial services, payments, and crypto-related technologies.
• Experience with global markets and relevant regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent communication and public speaking skills, with experience in representing companies publicly.
• Knowledge of the cryptocurrency landscape, including blockchain technology and digital payments.
• Ability to lead and inspire teams in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
• Based in the Netherlands.
