You will be responsible for carrying out services (installation, preventive and corrective maintenance) for the products of the life science High-end microscopy product range and support for the advances microscopy at customers' premises.
Tasks
- Carry out all the actions necessary for the installation and commissioning of the products of the Microscopy range
- Supervise project management: from delivery to installation and successful delivery of components and application software to our customers
- Introduce users into device and software to obtain the final installation report signature
- Support of- and active involvement in selling of services
- Provide post-sales support for products and applications
- Be the first point of contact for our customers for technical and application questions
- Ensuring maintenance operations (preventive and corrective) on customer sites
- Carry out a daily activity report on the technical acts performed
- Implement actions to guarantee the achievement of set objectives (performance, deadlines, etc.)
- Comply with regulatory and security obligations
- Ensure on-site support by traveling (up to 5 days per week), overnight stays (up to 2-3 days per week as average) nationally (approx. 80%), but also in some cases in other European countries (up to 20% of your activity)
Requirements
- University degree in STEM field or similar qualification with opto-mechanical or electronic systems
- Minimum of 1-year experience servicing and repairing electrical and/or electronic equipment
- Experience in an internationally operating company is preferred
- Must be willing to travel and work on a non-scheduled basis, including occasional weekends
- Has used complex analytical or measuring instrument(s) in a real-world situation or in a college lab environment
- Hands-on experience with an opto-mechanical or electronic system is an advantage
- Microscopy experience is mandatory
- Experience in technical after-sale service environment / organization including field service and direct customer communications is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and willing to work in a service role with focus on customer satisfaction
- Excellent written- and spoken local language. Good English skills, written and spoken.
