Tasks

We are looking for an Associate -Governance, Risk and compliance (GRC) to ensure our company adheres to international regulatory standards and frameworks and in-house policies. You will be responsible for managing and enforcing regulations in all aspects and levels of business. The goal is to assess our company’s risk posture and drive continuous improvement and this requires the GRC Associate to be in the office and as such, this is not a remote position.

  • Building and adhering to Information security and compliance standards.
  • Implementing Information Security policies and procedures for the organization as required by all applicable compliance programs.
  • Create and adhere to documentation of Policies & Procedures.
  • Research about industry best practices about compliance and IT security standards.
  • Managing various aspects such as vulnerability tickets, incidents, disaster recovery reports, and HR compliance, and collaborating with stakeholders on audit controls implementation.
  • Can work on the implementation of audit controls & engage with stakeholders.
  • Work with a variety of cyber security and privacy frameworks such as SOC2, GDPR, Cyber Essentials, etc

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience with international regulatory standards, frameworks, and internal policies.
  • Solid Technical background with Bachelor of Technology in computer science and related fields.
  • Should be able interpret and convey technical information through written and oral communications to all levels of technical aptitude, including senior management.
  • Should be a self-starter, capable of taking initiative and driving projects forward independently.
  • High degree of integrity and confidentiality, as well as ability to adhere to company policies and best practices.
  • Possess a strong internal drive and motivation for continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
