Tasks

Description of Function

As a Bond Fund Manager (BFM) at Enabling Qapital Ltd., you will be responsible for managing an Impact Emerging Market Bond Fund, developing and executing investment strategies, and overseeing the day-to-day management of the investment strategy including all ESG / Impact related matters. You will play a pivotal role in advancing our mission of promoting positive social and environmental impacts through responsible investments.

The key functions of the BFM role are to:

  • Elaborate and manage the Emerging Market Impact Bond Fund strategy (UCITS)
  • Design, research and implement a portfolio of ESG / Impact Fixed Income Emerging Market instruments
  • The Impact Bond Portfolio Manager will also be tasked with the crucial responsibility of designing and implementing the ESG Product Framework, ensuring its alignment with our sustainability goals and policies..
  • Act as main contact point for all ESG and impact reporting matters of an Emerging Market Bond Fund and being the knowledge center around all ESG and impact relevant aspects both versus investors and regulators
  • Regular and timely ESG data reporting and quantitative data collection/aggregation of a liquid bond portfolio (PAI, DNSH, mandatory disclosures and reporting)
  • Participate in the marketing, communication, and sales efforts

Requirements

Who you are

We are looking for a highly motivated and outspoken candidate with a track record in managing fixed Income portfolios and a compelling personal background.

Key attributes and skills you bring to this exciting role are:

  • Proven experience in Impact Bond Fund management, with a strong focus on Fixed Income investments
  • Expertise in SFDR 9 Reporting and ESG Reporting, demonstrating a deep understanding of sustainable finance regulations and reporting standards
  • Minimum 5 year’s experience in Fixed Income portfolio management
  • Broad understanding of financial markets, asset classes and investment products
  • Credit analysis skills and experience
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Degree in finance, economics or a related field
  • Experience in conducting financial and ESG due diligences preferred
  • Demonstrate interest in impact investing, emerging markets development, SDG initiatives, green energy or energy transition projects
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Ability to evaluate country risk and develop an understanding of the political and economic context in emerging markets
  • Excellent communication skills with a customer focused attitude
  • Team-player, analytical, entrepreneurial, innovative, reliable
  • Attitude to work in a multinational and multicultural environment
  • Proficient understanding of Bloomberg tools
  • Swiss resident
