The European Institute for Biomedical Imaging Research (EIBIR) is a non-profit, limited liability company founded in 2006 by the European Society of Radiology (ESR). It is dedicated to coordinating and facilitating research activities in biomedical imaging.
EIBIR supports scientists by assisting them with calls for proposals, providing project management, dissemination and training services and facilitating exchange and networking among the biomedical imaging research community.
We are looking for a full-time (38.5h) Junior Project Manager to complement our existing team in Vienna.
Tasks
- Managing European research projects in the biomedical imaging field
- Supporting monitoring and analysing European research funding schemes and calls for proposals of potential interest to EIBIR and preparing this information for EIBIR's network
- Support of the EIBIR network in defining new projects and applying for European funding schemes (e.g. under Horizon Europe)
- Managing communication and dissemination activities for EU funded projects in alignment with the project representatives and funding framework requirements
- Contributing to the EIBIR team's efforts to encourage European research institutes to join EIBIR as network members
- Editorial and dissemination work for EIBIR's ongoing research projects
- Coordinating and managing EIBIR's congress appearances
- Supporting the management of EIBIR's Boards and Joint Initiatives
Requirements
- Excellent command of English language (at least C1)
- Practical experience in (research) project management
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Knowledge of European health research landscape beneficial
- University degree in life sciences, health management, political sciences or similar beneficial
- Experience in digital communication and /or science communication beneficial
- Ability to work independently and proactively
- Willingness to work in a team
- Willingness to occasionally travel to project meetings

The monthly gross salary for this job vacancy is at least € 2,800 (14 times per year), with willingness to offer higher compensation depending on qualifications and experience.
