Embedded Systems Engineer - IoT

eesy-innovation is an R&D service provider offering services for full-cycle hardware and software solutions. The company focuses on developing and implementing customised IoT solutions for various sectors from industry, automotive, healthcare, sports & education, smart home and more. We are currently looking to expand our embedded systems development team.

As an embedded systems engineer, you will be part of a multicultural and international team dedicated to design, develop and test both firmware and hardware solutions for the Internet of Things. You will participate in different projects across companies and help to develop new IoT products.

More details on the tasks & responsibilities in this position are:

• Full-time job.
• Definition of specifications for IoT solutions.

Development of IoT devices from prototype to product (hardware and firmware).

• Development using standard and proprietary radio protocols within wireless sensor networks.
• Designing and implementing software of embedded devices and systems. Designing, developing, coding, testing and debugging system software.
• Participate in national and international funding projects with external partners.

• University degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or similar.
• Good understanding of HW/SW architectures in embedded systems.
• Knowledge in real-time embedded operative systems.
• Good experience in microcontroller firmware programming in C/C++.
• Familiar with scripting languages (Python, Batch, Bash, etc.).
• Experience in wireless communication protocols (TCP/IP, BLE, ZigBee, etc.) is a plus.
• Test-driven development experience is a plus.
• Web development skills are a plus (php, java, javascript, etc.)
• Experience working in agile methodologies is a plus (Scrum, Jira).
• Good team-working and communication skills.
• Fluent English communication skills, German is a plus.
