Founded in 1998 as a spin-off from a leading Swiss bank, ECOFACT is a fully independent firm based in Zurich.

We are looking for a motivated individual to support our Finance and Admin team in a 40-60% role, starting December 1, with the potential to expand your area of responsibility and capacity in the medium term.

Tasks

In this role, you will:

  • manage accounts receivable, including issuing invoices, following up, and reconciling payments;
  • support our Client Solutions team, e.g., maintain an overview of client contracts and handle clients' supplier onboarding processes;
  • prepare reports for internal (e.g. quarterly performance reviews, project overviews) and external (e.g. client activity) purposes;
  • maintain an overview of hardware and software at ECOFACT and support onboarding logistics for new joiners (e.g. equipment and software); and
  • support the Finance & Admin team on an ad-hoc basis.

Requirements

You are / have:

  • fluent in English (spoken and written);
  • completed basic commercial training (kaufmännische Ausbildung) or a relevant degree (e.g. accounting);
  • at least of professional experience in a similar function;
  • experienced with MS Office tools, especially Excel;
  • strong analytical and communication skills;
  • ability to take initiative, work independently, and manage priorities; and
  • a valid Swiss work permit (or are an EU national).

You earn extra points if you are / have:

  • German language skills;
  • a can-do attitude and willingness to take on tasks outside your direct area of responsibility;
  • comfortable using AI tools (e.g. Claude) in your day-to-day work and are keen to spot ways to make processes more efficient; and
  • hands-on with technology and happy to help with things like setting up laptops or basic IT troubleshooting.
