Dufour Aerospace is pioneering drones for critical missions. Based in Switzerland, Dufour develops and manufactures efficient and sustainable aircraft for cargo transportation, logistics, and public safety.
We are looking for a motivated and hands-on individual to join us in streamlining our hardware development process. You will play a key role in the AeroMini platform - our agile, small-scale R&D platform used to validate technologies for our large-scale Aero-200 aircraft.
Tasks
Your primary mission will be to lead the onboarding and implementation of a new innovative wiring tool for the AeroMini platform. This is a unique opportunity to bridge the gap between digital design and physical hardware, ensuring our R&D platforms are built with precision and efficiency.
Tasks:
- Tool Onboarding: Take ownership of introducing and integrating a new digital wiring tool into our AeroMini workflow.
- System Mapping: Help define and document electrical architectures for our small-scale flight test platforms.
- Hands-on Interaction: Support wiring and harness assembly, as well as on-aircraft debugging tasks on a regular basis.
- Stakeholder Communication: Coordinate closely with engineers and technicians to ensure the tool meets the needs of the wider team.
- Optimization: Identify bottlenecks and propose pragmatic, efficient solutions.

- Background: Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related technical field.
Note: A Bachelor’s degree is not strictly required if you have significant relevant practical experience. - Logical Thinking: Ability to grasp complex new concepts quickly and a strong drive for pragmatic problem-solving.
- Hands-on Mentality: You enjoy getting your hands dirty and moving from the screen to the workbench.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey technical information concisely.
- Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of electrical systems and wiring principles.
- Experience with a multimeter and basic harness/crimping tasks is a significant advantage.
- Availability: Starting as soon as possible for a minimum duration of 4 months.
- Location: We are only considering candidates currently residing in Switzerland with a valid work permit.
