Freelance English Teacher (d/f/m) Business Courses - Remote

DÜS Eckert is the leading provider of German language and integration courses in Düsseldorf and Essen. Since 2004, we have successfully taught German to more than 30,000 refugees and immigrants in our courses. Through our work, we make an essential contribution to supporting our participants in actively engaging with society.
Our schools specialize in integration courses and German language exams. We also offer customized online language courses for innovative companies.

As a freelance teacher, you support people in learning English and developing their professional language skills. You will start teaching 3 lessons a week on Thursday and Friday morning with the opportunity to teach more hours in the future.

The starting rate is €30 per lesson (45 minutes).

• You deliver engaging lessons: You create positive learning experiences by designing your lessons to be communicative and learner-centered.
• You tailor content to business needs: You focus on relevant vocabulary and workplace communication.
• You teach practical skills: Participants learn to handle meetings, presentations, and everyday business communication.
• You track learning progress: You work closely with administration and quality management and deliver comprehensive feedback to our clients.

• Language skills: You have native-level proficiency in English (C2+) and speak german on B2 Level. (required)
• Experience: You are confident in online teaching. You use digital tools and innovative teaching methods to motivate participants and create an engaging learning environment. (required)
• Equipment: You have access to reliable technical tools e.g. high speed internet, a high quality microphone and webcam. (required)
• Location: You are located in the EU. (required)
• Open-mindedness: You feel comfortable in intercultural contexts and are open to new methods and professional development opportunities. (required)
• Teaching: You have a degree in English Studies, a TEFL or similar certification. (preferred)

• Timely payment: You don't have to wait long. A few days after you submit your invoice, you'll find your payment in your account.
