For our client, Rivia we are looking for a (senior) Account Executive in **Zurich, Switzerland.**

Rivia specializes in AI-Driven Analytics and Data Infrastructure for Successful Biopharma Clinical Trials. Biopharmas are the origin of most new therapies, yet often face inefficiencies and failures in clinical trials due to fragmented data and outdated tools. Their technology offers a real-time, integrated view of data to improve the evaluation of new treatments and trial conduct. Their vision is to become the unified data infrastructure that transforms clinical development lifecycles, bringing new therapies to market more successfully.

In under 3 years, they've successfully launched Rivia to multiple Biotechs and are scaling to reach many more. The rapid growth and innovative approach have recently been recognized by top investors, resulting in a €3M funding round led by Speedinvest. This investment provides them with the resources to accelerate our development and expand our impact in the biotech industry.

As an Account Executive, you will drive the growth of Rivia by identifying and closing new business opportunities within the Biotech and pharmaceutical sectors. You will own the full sales cycle—from lead generation to closing deals. Your ability to understand client needs, present Rivia’s value proposition, and build lasting relationships will be key to your success. You’ll collaborate closely with the marketing and product teams to align go-to-market strategies and help shape the future of Rivia's customer base.

## Tasks

*   Identify, target, and close new business opportunities within the Biotech and pharmaceutical sectors.
*   Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand Rivia’s client base.
*   Present and demonstrate Rivia’s platform, effectively communicating its value proposition to prospective clients.
*   Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
*   Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to negotiation and closing. 
*   Track and report on sales metrics, providing regular updates to senior management.
*   Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and areas for improvement.

## Requirements

*   At least 5 years of experience of owning a revenue quota for a SaaS business, preferably within the biopharma or healthcare sectors.
*   Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
*   Relentless and goal-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
*   Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
*   Familiarity with sales cycles, procurement processes and CRM software.
*   Passion for innovative technology and a desire to make a meaningful impact in the pharmaceutical industry.

**Bonus Points**

*   Having worked with a complex technical SaaS product
*   Experience in go-to-market strategy for an early stage startup
*   Knowledge of drug development and/or clinical trials
