Job Summary

We are looking for a mid-level to senior PHP Developer with solid experience in PHP 7.3 (without frameworks), strong CSS, HTML optimization with accessibility standards, MySQL, and familiarity with utility-first frameworks like Tailwind CSS. Your first major assignment will involve enhancing existing PHP applications by optimizing styles, improving template performance, and ensuring responsive, accessible web interfaces.

• You’re a developer who likes working in raw PHP and is comfortable managing templating and business logic without relying on heavy frameworks.
• You take pride in your CSS skills, care about details like lazy loading, minification, and know how to write clean, maintainable styles.
• You understand the importance of HTML optimization and accessibility tags to deliver inclusive experiences.
• You’re comfortable working with MySQL, writing optimized queries and structuring data.
• You have strong written comprehension of English and enjoy collaborating on team projects, adhering to established coding standards.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Enhance and maintain PHP applications running on PHP 7.3 without frameworks, ensuring high performance and stability.
• Write, refactor, and optimize CSS for styling templates, focusing on lazy loading, minification, and responsive design.
• Apply best practices in HTML optimization, using accessibility tags to ensure content is inclusive and SEO-friendly.
• Use Tailwind CSS or similar lightweight CSS frameworks where beneficial to accelerate styling while keeping clean utility-first design.
• Design and optimize MySQL queries and database structures to ensure reliable data flow and performance.
• Participate in code reviews, adhere to team conventions, and contribute to maintaining high standards of code quality.
• Collaborate with other developers and designers to deliver cohesive, user-centered products.

WHAT YOU BRING

✅ 4+ years of professional experience with PHP 7.3 (or close versions), maintaining projects without frameworks.
✅ Strong proficiency in CSS, with experience in styles templating, lazy loading, and minification.
✅ Familiarity with Tailwind CSS or similar utility-first / lightweight CSS frameworks.
✅ Solid understanding of HTML optimization and accessibility best practices.
✅ Experience working with MySQL: writing, optimizing, and debugging queries.
✅ Proven ability to work on team projects, follow coding standards, and communicate effectively in English (written comprehension is essential).
✅ Comfortable using Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile workflows.
