Your role as a Research Software Engineer
As a Research Software Engineer, you will be part of the team that focuses on building GIS applications and data pipelines. We use GIS data to generate simulation models for our hydrological calculation cores for surface water and groundwater. We use well-known Python libraries such as GDAL, Numpy, (Geo)Pandas, and XArray. You will work closely with hydrologists and engineers to improve our research tools and deliver software that meets both technical and business needs.

Key qualifications
You are an experienced (3+ years) software developer with a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, civil engineering, or a similar field.
