As Junior Finance & Operations Manager, you will own broad-ranging responsibilities around all financial and operational activities of the company. You will work closely with the Head of Finance & Operations to support the execution of end-to-end processes related to financial operations, -reporting, -planning, and -controlling as well as business operations and legal topics.

In this role, you will have the ability to support the Head of Finance and Operations in the field of

Financial Coordination and Tasks:

  • Perform day-to-day finance business operations
  • Organize completeness of receipts and payments via our receipt management tool Dext
  • Pre-accounting receipts via Xero
  • Checking and paying incoming invoices
  • Issuing invoices to customers and following up on payment
  • Monthly financial report creation
  • Reporting to VC investors, banks, and other stakeholders
  • Annual report creation
  • Filing tax returns and overseeing VAT tax returns with external partners
  • Budget and liquidity planning and the creation of business plans

Business Operations Tasks:

  • Setting up legal/contracting tasks (NDAs, DPAs, Customer Agreements)
  • Internal communication and taking over responsibility for various projects that have an impact on our organization
  • Coordination with the Senior HR Manager on the intersection of Finance and HR
  • Auditing process support for SOC2 and ISO27001 processes
  • Setup and monitoring of a company KPI system


  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business
  • A minimum of one year of operational experience (preferably at a start-up)
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial accounting, budgeting, and reporting
  • Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills
  • Problem-solving mentality and capacity to make data-informed decisions
  • Experience with Xero or Dext is a plus
  • Experience with Hubspot is a plus
  • Experience with PowerBI or Tableau is a plus
  • German skills are a plus
  • Decentriq is a Swiss entity. Experience with Swiss law is a plus
