At Dafolle, we're obsessed with two things: design that drives measurable business results and radical execution speed. We are looking for a Lead Strategic Designer to own and deliver high-quality design work (branding, web, product, ads), manage a portfolio of 3-5 clients with surgical efficiency, and ensure their success. This is a role of radical ownership, where creative excellence and flawless project management are the baseline. No bullshit, just impact.

Tasks

Own the end-to-end design and delivery of high-impact projects (Branding, Web Design, Product Design, Ad Creatives).

Manage a portfolio of 3-5 international clients with total autonomy, targeting a client satisfaction score above 90%.

Deliver 98%+ of all tasks within our promised fast-paced deadlines (48-72h).

Connect and justify every single design decision to a measurable business outcome for the client (conversion, clicks, retention).

Act as a strategic partner to our clients, not just an executor.

Requirements

Non-negotiable Figma Mastery: You build and use complex Design Systems effortlessly. Auto-layout is your native language. Your files are models of clarity and efficiency.

A Business-Oriented Portfolio: Your portfolio is a collection of case studies: "Business Problem → Design Solution → Quantified Results." If you don't have metrics, this isn't the senior role for you.

Radical Ownership: You don't "do tasks"; you run projects. You see an ambiguous brief as an opportunity to lead, not a reason to wait.

Proven Velocity: You have a system to get from a brief to a high-quality V1 in hours, not days.

Strategic AI Workflow: You use AI tools (Midjourney, etc.) as a core part of your workflow to boost creativity and productivity, not as a gimmick.

Influential Communication in English: You can articulate and defend your design decisions with conviction and clarity, always tying them back to client goals.

Benefits

Fully remote: Work from wherever you want, we only measure impact.

Attractive and progressive compensation: Between €48k and €72k gross annual salary, starting as a freelancer. Directly indexed to the number of clients managed and performance.

Radical autonomy: Zero micromanagement. You are the CEO of your projects.

Zero corporate bullshit: We speak truthfully, we decide quickly, and we execute even faster.

Direct impact: Your work has a measurable effect on the growth of ambitious clients (our references: M6, Doctolib, Swile).

This is a full-remote position. Your talent and mindset matter more than your location.
While we are open to outstanding talent from any country, we are primarily sourcing in these strategic locations due to their strong design communities, excellent English proficiency, and proven experience with international clients:

Portugal

Poland

South Africa

Spain

Argentina

Flawless English (both written and spoken) and proven experience managing EU or Anglo-Saxon clients are mandatory. The most important factors are your design skill, your business-first thinking, and your ability to lead projects for demanding international clients.
Our Hiring Process We receive hundreds of applications. Here is how to stand out and not waste your time (or ours):

Cycle 0: The Visual Filter. Your resume is your first design submission. It must be flawless. A generic or poorly designed resume is immediately discarded before being read. Only profiles that pass this visual test are reviewed in detail (resume + portfolio).

Cycle 1: The DNA Match. If your profile stands out, you'll advance to an initial interview. Your answers are objectively analyzed to measure your business-oriented mindset and obsession with velocity.

Cycle 2: The Real-World Test. The best candidates move to the practical test. A real, ambiguous client brief that you must turn into a strategic design solution in 3 hours. This is where you prove your value under real-world conditions.
