We’re expanding our **Quantitative Research Unit** at **D11Z. Ventures**, one of Europe’s largest single-LP Family Office VCs.

We’re looking for a **hands-on Quantitative Intern** eager to apply **AI and quantitative research** to the world of Venture Capital.

If you’re passionate about **machine learning, data-driven investing, and startups**, this is your opportunity to work at the intersection of **tech and finance** and help redefine how we generate venture alpha.

## Tasks

*   Develop and test **quantitative models** predicting startup success, funding timing, and sector momentum
*   Build and validate **ML/NLP models** using venture and market data
*   Create **data automation pipelines** (e.g. Pipedream, Airflow, custom APIs)
*   Evaluate **alternative data sources** to uncover new alpha signals
*   Collaborate with **investors** to turn data into actionable insights

## Requirements

*   Master’s student or Gap Year between Bachelor and Master (CS, Physics, Math, or similar)
*   Strong skills in **Python**, ML frameworks (**PyTorch, scikit-learn, TensorFlow**) and APIs (**PostgREST / Supabase REST APIs**)
*   Solid **software engineering** and **data automation** skills
*   Familiarity with **Pipedream, LangChain, Hugging Face, or Streamlit**
*   **Quantitative mindset** and a passion for **startups and venture capital**
*   **Good command of both German and English** 
*   Above all: **hands-on, curious, builder mindset**
